Pioneer Genealogical Society
Pioneer Genealogical Society was formed in April 1971 and welcomes those interested in discussion and exchange of information about genealogy. Our purpose is to study methods available to members for genealogical research and to develop and maintain ancestral records and family charts.
Informative programs, workshops, and other events are presented for the genealogist. PGS collects and preserves both genealogical and related historical materials for public use. These materials are available in the:

Pioneer Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations and Gifts are deductible.
Meetings
➢ The Society meets the first Monday of the month in the Programming Room of the Ponca City Library at 7:00 p.m.
➢ (No meetings in January or February: if the 1st Monday of the month falls on a holiday, the meeting will be held on Tuesday, the next day.)
➢ Executive Board meetings are held on the same day in the Board Room of the Ponca City Library at 5:30 p.m.
➢ Visitors are always Welcome to attend the regular monthly meetings and enjoy our program.
